This highly purified collagenase quality is used for isolation of sensitive cells and guarantees high yields and viability. In combination with Neutral Protease NB GMP Grade (Cat. no. N0002936), Collagenase NB 1 GMP Grade is especially applicable to isolation of pancreatic islets of Langerhans.
Collagenase NB 1 GMP Grade is recommended for applications which have to meet GMP requirements like tissue engineering and transplantation into humans.


Contains chromatographically highly purified class I and class II collagenase (1).
Largely free from clostripain, trypsin-like protease and neutral protease.
Vial contains not less than 2000 PZ U collagenase.
PZ activity (Wünsch): ≥ 3.000 U/mg
Endotoxin ≤ 10.0 EU/mg (Ph. Eur.)
Microbiological examination: Total aerobic microbial count (TAMC), total combined yeast/moulds count (TYMC), absence of Clostridia, abnormal toxicity (general safety test; Ph. Eur.).
