Welcome on board!

Since the first of August, a fresh wind blows over the Nordmark premises. We were delighted to welcome seven new apprentices in our company and are pleased that we may accompany them with their entrance into their working life. In the first days, they got to know Nordmark from its most different facets. The extensive tour of the company premises or the joint lunch with the trainers in the company canteen are just two of the many highlights of the first week at Nordmark.

However, who can report on the first days better than the apprentices themselves can? That is right - no one, and so we will now let our new apprentices have the floor:

  • In the first week, I particularly liked the fact that many different people spoke to us. That was very varied. I also really liked the hand fire extinguisher exercise, because it made me feel a bit safer going into a dangerous situation. I also liked getting to know my trainer on the first day.
  • Personally, what I liked the most was that we -the new apprentices - were welcomed so friendly and with open arms. It was also very nice to get to know the other apprentices from the other departments and the youth and trainee council (JAV), since you do not run into each other so often. Of course, I have very positive memories of the introductory week with the personalized cardboard cones and the joint lunch.
  • The absolute highlight was, of course, the fire drill on the drill ground. However, I was also happy to get to know my nice colleagues and the other apprentices. The only thing missing was the typical currywurst with fries for lunch.
  • What I liked about the introductory days was that you are gently welcomed into the company and not just thrown in at the deep end. The joint induction of all apprentices in 2021 gave me the opportunity to get to know the others and make initial contacts. I also found it extremely generous that the company even invited me to get to know the canteen.

We are glad that you are here and a part of our Nordmark family. We wish you success and fun in your apprenticeship!
