Enzynorm f discontinued

For over 80 years, Enzynormf had been a reliable companion for patients with stomach conditions. 

However, the history of a traditional medicinal product also means that any desirable improvements to the manufacturing process inevitably lead to a complete, time-consuming and costly re-approval procedure. Since this financial effort could not be justified from a business point of view against the background of a limited number of patients, Nordmark Pharma GmbH had to take the decision to discontinue the manufacture and distribution of Enzynorm f.

Unfortunately, we do not offer a successor product. Please ask your doctor and/or pharmacist about this, as they will be in a better position to assess your condition.

Despite this painful decision, we remain convinced that supporting the protein digestion is a worthwhile effort. We are therefore looking at alternative ways of producing pepsin and would be pleased to update you on our progress in due course.
