Werner Creutzfeldt Doctoral Scholarship 2025

At the annual meeting of the DPC from 27th February to 1st March 2025, Ms Sarah Cronjaeger from Dresden was awarded the Werner Creutzfeldt Doctoral Scholarship 2025.

The € 5,000 scholarship holder's project was selected by a jury from among numerous high-quality research projects. 

In Ms Cronjaeger's doctoral thesis, she is investigating the role of nectin-4 in the Tcell response in pancreatic cancer for the identification of new therapeutic target structures. She would like to use the grant to attend an international congress of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) in order to present her project data and to network scientifically.
