Collagenase NB 7D Gentle Grade from Clostridium histolyticum
Nordmark Collagenase NB - first choice for high yield and viable cells
Collagenase NB 7D Gentle Grade is suitable for isolation of a broad variety of cells. Moreover, it can be used especially where sensitive conditions are favored as during isolation of dendritic and tumor cells from human or animal tissues. To meet these requirements, Collagenase NB 7D Gentle Grade combines the benefits of slightly higher collagenase activity with low tryptic activities ideal to preserve cell-surface proteins.
Application:
Collagenase NB 7D Gentle Grade can be used for a variety of different applications when sensitive cells are isolated.
Specifications:
Contains higher amounts of class I and class II collagenase (1) and lower trypsin-like activities.
PZ activity (Wünsch): ≥ 0.2 U/mg
(Clostridiopeptidase A)
Trypsin-like activities BAEE): ≤ 0.2 U/mg
Ratio Collagenase : Trypsin: ≥ 3.0

Related Products
If you are dealing with less efficient cell isolation results, a product with higher tryptic activities like, Collagenase NB 4G Proved Grade (Cat. No. S1746502) might be better suitable. However, in case of poor cell viability, try a product with even less tryptic activities like Collagenase NB 1 Premium Grade (Cat. No. S1745503).

Unit definition:
Collagenase: 1 U according to Wünsch (2) catalyzes the hydrolysis of
