Collagenase NB 5 Sterile Grade from Clostridium histolyticum
Nordmark Collagenase NB - first choice for high yield and viable cells
Collagenase NB 5 Sterile Grade is applicable to tissue dissociation such as isolation of human and rodent hepatocytes, chondrocytes, neuronal and endothelial cells, fibroblasts, cells from adipose tissue (e.g. ADSCs), stem cells and rodent osteoblasts.
See Collagenase NB 6 GMP Grade (Cat. no. N0002779) for clinical applications like tissue engineering and transplantation.
Contains class I and class II collagenase (1) and a balanced ratio of proteolytic side activities.
PZ activity (Wünsch): ≥ 0.10 U/mg
Microbiological examination: Sterility, absence of Clostridia

For initial testing and protocol optimization, Collagenase NB 4 Standard Grade (Cat. No. S1745401) can be used. If the application has to meet GMP requirements, Nordmark also offers Collagenase NB 6 GMP Grade which has comparable enzymatic properties to Collagenase NB 5 Sterile Grade and Collagenase NB 4 Standard Grade (Cat. No. S1745401).
